longer ignition

Post by hbriga »

:( 2000 V40 46K have difficulties with starting. So far it was one short ditch to start but recently it needs 6-7 seconds long ignition to start the engine. I was told that it should be the fuel pressure regulator because they found a little fuel in the pipe under the regulator. they said it shouldn't be in there. They also said that might be the some temperature control problem.

What do you think?

We gave me the same answers so far. My 2001 is doing the same but not 6 to 7 seconds but 3 to 4. I know that sometimes time seem very long when you're wondering wether or not it will start.
