Relay on Battery Charge

Post by shelly4278 » Wed Nov 23, 2011 11:12 am

Hi I have a 2005 S40 I am having problems with my Battery not keeping its charge. My alteranator is fine. Im thinking it could be a relay. Are Relays universal. Do I need to buy a special Volvo Relay or just buy one from a automotive store. How much would this be to fix.

How old is the battery? How do you know the alternator is fine?
