intermittent transmission groaning or howling noise Topic is solved

I have a 02' S60 2.4t which has been fairly trouble free with the exception of I think a tranmission noise which I can feel. Similar to metal rubbing but they goes away. I don't think it's a wheel bearing because mainly upon started up does this happen and stops. Any thoughts?

Also this is mainly when the car starts moving and then the noise stops past 5 mph. I can't believe no one else hasn't experienced this before.

Might this not be the ABS self check cycle that you're feeling?
