Headlight relay position? - 02 XC70 Topic is solved

Chasing a low beam out issue. I know there will be a relay somewhere, can someone enlighten me to where it is? I have looked at the parts drawings and can't find it anywhere. Probably in an inaccessible point under the dash?

Did more digging and found this helpful write up:

Looks like there is a removable mosfet relay that I will need to chase down. Junkyard run may be on the cards. Might also have to drag out Vida and do a deep dive on the faults. One person found they had to disconnect the battery and another to reset an error message with Vida to get the lights working again.

thanks for reminding me i need to start collecting the shunts off of these on my yard runs in addition to the relays. If you ever need relays! i have minimum two of each kind right now.... they let me grab as many relays as i want no charge with every prop shaft i purchase

Good to know and thanks! I delayed the junkyard trip as it is colder and miserable today. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and +8C so other than being mushy, preferable to today!
