2008 S60 2.5T 250k, P0101 MAF

Post by hu5ker555 »

A month or two ago, I replaced all of the plugs and coil packs. Running great ever since, but now I'm getting a recurring P0101 MAF. I clear it but it comes back. I've cleaned it with MAF spray, still comes back. Any suggestions for replacing it? Where to get the part?

eBay has a bunch that look like Bosch but the numbers are printed, not embossed.

I'd go to dealer or ipd or Volvo parts. I'll add what I do if the maf cleaning doesn't fix my issue this weekend.

Bosch or Bremi brand is fine.

Check autohausaz, rmeuropean and FCPEuro.
Bosch is about $100.

I think there are fake Bosch parts on eBay. The numbers are printed where the photos of Bosch parts from fcp euro show embossing.

Last week, I removed my MAF and flooded it with a 20 second burst of crc MAF cleaner in each of the 2 airflow holes. I also got the thermistor on top.

My odb2 monitor has been reading 5 g/second at idle, and after cleaning, it was down to 2.9 g/s. I was very pleased. It had been around that when I installed this MAF.

I was surprised that a clean MAF would read lower rather than higher.
