Thermister stopped working-CCM shutdown

My Climate Control Module (CCM) has been acting funny for a long time..shut the car off and turn it back on and it sometimes CCM resets to default AC ON and AUTO mode. Finally this afternoon turned car on and NO CCM..completely dead, even worse my sticker is un readable. Luckily i came across a post on here from someone who said it was a faulty thermister. I wouldnt of believed that small wire thing could shut down the whole unit but it does. I tested the thermister with a miltimeter and got zero ohms, i tested my spare and i got 19*** ohms .Its always good to have a few spares on hand.

My CCM has a faulty encoder for the blower flow. I'm lazy and defer the replacement (have a donor), because AUTO works ok. Miss the days when A/C was all mechanical.

This is the CCM sticker, VIDA says the part number for my car is 8691950 but thats not what the sticker says. There must be a way to get this number from Volvo?? OK so i swapped the back cover and tried to peel the sticker...it just crumbles.

There's S/W part number and H/W part number. Which P/N have you read?

Also why you need it? Want to find a donor unit?

I would like to have a spare incase. So the 9452 is software? thats why nothing is coming up in a search
