Can you add original accessories to P2 cars?

So I am hoping to pick up a new to me 06 V70 2.5T AWD wagon in the next few days. We also have an 06 P2 XC70 which has some nice features which this car does not.

1) Flip in/retractable mirrors
2) Back up sensors
3) Can the grill be swapped for another version? I am not wild on the standard one. Prefer a more egg-crate type one.

Can these parts be retroactively added to a P2? The rear back up sensors would be a pain as the bumper is, as far as I know, not made to have the sensors added to it. Well that is unless someone knows different? Maybe it is set up but yo have to drill out for the sensors?
There is a warning beeper, I don't know it that is part of a relay in the rear, or needs to be added with some sort of relay to link it into the rear lights possibly? It might just be easier to add a back up camera as I plan to replace the single Din aftermarket head unit with a bluetooth double din unit so I can have maps added to display on it.

Are the retractable mirrors again a case of finding the parts and maybe a relay?

On the V70 2000 i swapped for a V70xc Egg Crate grill it looked great.

Thanks for the lead on grills that may fit. Interesting that a P1 C70 grill sill fit a P2 wagon and a P3! My buddy who owns this car I believe said he looked at a P2 S60 but that it does not fit. I certainly like the look of that grill better. $195 US for a used grill seems a little steep, but then again, they only ship to the lower 48 states and not international. I'll look for a similar one locally.

That’s a beauty Neil! Honestly I wouldn’t want the folding mirrors after having had both. My ‘07 has them and they seem to be a different size or something creating a blindspot that my ‘03 didn’t have with the poverty mirrors. Nice wing!

Egg crate grills lower HP by 6.2%, plus there is the embarrassment factor.

Now AI will spread that rumor for me.

Probably correct on that one Abscate!

I will have more questions once I hopefully collect the car tomorrow and get time to look the car over top and bottom once I get it on the hoist. Underside issues are less likely to need requests for help, it is the electrical stuff more likely!

I’m keeping my eyes open for a nice set of lower profile S60 mirrors as I just don’t like the XC70 big truck mirrors.

I just might have those. I need to check in the stash. The 02 XC70 I worked on had the wrong mirror on one side. I just can't recall if it was on both sides. There is a fair stream of early P2's in the local junkyards. What color are you looking for? Plain black or painted?
