I checked a couple Volvo Parts Web, FCP and 1AAuto and none have nor reference this part?

Is that not the alternator pulley clutch?

Pulled the tensioner today. Best to look at it before the sun starts to set. Then again was looking at the tree and forgot about the forest :roll: :oops: .

Damn I thought it was going to be the brake booster vacuum switch ... I love answering that question 100+ times a year. :lol:

You mean that one :D ? It was plugged in when I purchased it. Took it apart right before replacing the Turbo CHRA and then it sat for perhaps 2 years and... I even zip tied it close and still had no clue :roll:.

Yes mine survived on zip ties for a year or three.
hot tip: jump the connector to test your vacuum pump
