I did look at VParts. Great website but they don't don't ship beyond Europe. They have still not restored shipping to the UK since Brexit for some reason. Never understood why Euro companies have such a problem shipping stuff outside their countries.

There's a fairly consistent chatter in the Volvo universe about one American reseller or another becoming a VParts distributor, but so far nothing concrete. There's a sales dam waiting to burst for those parts, if my observation is correct.

I agree with @jonesg. @Antoine240bk those look great.

I really hope that someone takes up distributing there stuff over this side of the Atlantic. Now I know someone who has a bunch of parts already in his garage and is retired, so how hard could it be to deal with a few more? Maybe a new venture??

The lens you have is about as bad as our 03 Odyssey. Both the front and rear light assembly had the internal cracks in the plastic. Surface can be made clear again but you can't do anything about those fine cracks. You might be able to just separate the entire lens if their was a second pair of hands, Son's. Wear a thick leather glove!

Went to the autobody supply shop today to get some more coarse wet and dry sandpaper. Over the weekend I will have another go. Where I used the 380 grit it has made a big difference. Not perfect yet, but a whole lot improved.

I've had good success wet sanding by hand starting with 400 and doing about 5 steps ending with 2000 grit, then finishing with a 3M cut power polish and then wax.

That is now my plan. I'll do more with the 400, and then have 600/800/1000/2000/3000. Then a good buff with plastic polish and sealant. If it was my light and I planned to use it on my car I have headlight clearcoat to coat them. But as they are to sell for my buddy, I will just use the Meguiar's sealant for now. It is ok for about a year.
