This is correct, so long as you do not exceed the 1/4 turn limits when you go CCW. Once the belt is off, the crankshaft stays where it is or else (ouch )

When you come to the step of tightening the belt, you would ONLY turn the crankshaft CW of course

I have the parts ordered for the timing belt and the serpentine belts and the associated parts.
Once they come in I will start taking it apart and I will give myself two days for this. Taking my time.

In an earlier post, I saw that you needed a service manual. The best source of information including parts, diagnostics and repair procedures is the VIDA/DiCE setup. For those of us who keep our cars longer than average, investing in one (combined with all the knowledge shared on these forums) will go a long way.

Ya, that's what I hear. I need to replace the timing belt so I can drive the car. It's been parked since I bought it.
When the timing belt etc is done I'll work on getting a dedicated PC just for the VIDA/DICE.

I appreciate all the help I got to date.
