Does anyone happen to know who makes the OEM Volvo Head Gasket? I prefer to not pay blue box pricing if I can get the same EXACT product elsewhere. Same quality etc...
Some brands I can get cheaper are Elring, and VIctor Reinz. Also any thoughts on the head bolts? FEBI, AJUSA. Victor Reins?

It might be worth calling up FCP and telling them your name is Matt and you need some info on the head gaskets.
Dont use abscate, though. He stole some lunches from them.

Abscate great idea!
- I did not want to use the name Abscate or Matt when calling so I used Steve from MVS. Figured no one on MVS uses that name as their user name / handle.
They said Elring, and VIctor Reinz are both OEM depending who has the contract at the time and head bolts? FEBI, or Victor Reins.

I have only used Victor Reinz or blue box on head gaskets. Some replacement HGs from Elring have bad reviews.
It is tough to pony up $ for a blue box head gasket but it is also insurance against doing it again in a couple years.
