Managed to do this in 15 minutes.
I used an Al racing jack with a wood plank, and I kept jacking it up until the top two bolts were level, the tipping the back up,and blocking it until I finally had a level transmission and top bolt holes aligned
I then put in two over length M12x1.5x 90 bolts and threaded them into the block about 6 threads.
I then carefully advanced the transmission until the splines met, a little wiggle on the flywheel teeth and they meshed, and then ....clunk....the trans slid home to the block.
Cardboard on the driveway helped the jack move both in/out and sideways as needed
Abby had a role up top as a safety in case I wiggled off the wood braces
Elapsed time from roll in to bolt up , about 45 minutes.
Alignment bolts in place

Great job, Steve. Did you end up converting to a single mass flywheel? If yes, is there anything different in terms of installation?
