Does the CEM have to be cloned or can I just get one off another used Volvo and replace it?
I heard they have to be cloned but Its simply to expensive and having the CEM out means the car is gonna have to be parked a while.

Has to be cloned, Xemodex is not cheap but works - battery needs disconnected. 2001 didn't have many problems with the CEM besides some relays (for ABS). Mostly 2004-up were problematic. Is the problem related to the CEM ?
