Tip for easier work on front of engine

Post by volvolugnut »

I thought of a tip today to make it more comfortable to work down low on the front of V70 engines. The steel radiator support has an edge on the back side that is always cutting into your arms. This is particularly hard when the fan is removed. I realized a length of split hose or wire loom would make a smoother edge and make work here easier. Photo is below.
