I replaced the 3 lower motor mounts today, not a bad job, took about 4 hours working slowly and tripping over dogs in the garage. The right mount was pretty bad, the other two hydraulic mounts looked ok but the front one was separated as shown in the picture. The rear mount was a little tricky to get at the bottom bolt and then I partially stripped the threads putting the bolt in the new one, had to take it out and run a thread chaser and put it back in.
All three mounts were Volvo and assumed to be original.
Motor mounts after 275000 Kms.

The one under the crank pulley goes bad quite often, more so if the subframe is lowered for sm reason
Were the main mounts liquid filled ? On diesel engines these are actually vacuum mounts and regular wear item

The one under the crank pulley was oil soaked and the rubber was separated from the metal. I’m not sure if the other two were liquid filled, I’ll poke a hole in one tomorrow and see. The front one was almost 3/4 separated!
