VIDA 2014D tips Topic is solved

Just wasted a number of hours trying to figure out why my VIDA 2014D suddenly refused to work, checked some common things expiry is good at 2030 , no Skype or other programs installed (port 80 issue), checked numerous things with no luck. I have a scanner tool and was able to clear the airbag code in around 5minutes.

Getting back to VIDA I got the "http page not found error" which i (think) the browser explorer 11 auto updated, not sure but a good tip is to disable auto updates. Another thing i discovered after re installing my Windows 7 pro laptop is save the drivers as alot of the online links are no longer available, and after VIDA has installed (took me several attempts) that is appears to work better deleting explorer 11 and using the default explorer 8.

The patch file sent to me by the ebay seller was defective, i remember having problems when i first installed VIDA ..the expiry date is 2030 but there is another defect with the patch that luckily i was able to find a working 2014A one online that works.
