You're best bet now is to procure a new propshaft or a good used one from the auto wreckers, this is most definitely you're problem!

The bearing may or may not be ok, It's the rubber support that is the problem and causing the noise when driving. Start sourcing out a replacement propshaft. You cannot service or replace that single support or bearing separately unfortunately.

I suppose you could try to "shim" it to center the bearing for the purposes of troubleshooting. There's no question that the rubber in the bearing support is worn out though. If you could source out another propshaft that would save you the trouble of installing it and then having to remove it again to replace.

Time to get ahold of Colorado Driveshaft, unless you can/are able to pull one from a scrap yard car.

You will want to find out the country of manufacture on all the bits involved with IPD’s driveshaft. There’s 2 CVJ’s & a bearing in the middle. You don’t want Chinesium on either end, nor in the middle here.
Colorado Driveshaft has a remarkable reputation with P2 driveshafts. In fact, I can’t recall a single instance where a company OTHER than Colorado DS was recommended.
I have personally purchased several F/R CVJ’s from them and they/their products are superior & far undercut factory prices.
To reiterate, I don’t know what IPD uses for their CVJ’s or hanger bearing, but you will need to find out.

Happy New Year !!
The bearing sound has been localized and now I need some advice what to do.
Removed the angel gear from car trying to isolate the sound and this is what I found.
The bearings are really rough and quite a lot of binding:
So I decided to take it apart...
Status of the AG looks to be quite good:
1. Half worn splines ( might do the weld mod on it..)
2. The crown wheel and pinion gear are in good shape
3. Bearings on crown wheel axle seems really smooth (type 32010 X/Q)
4. But the pinion bearings sounds like this:
I'm thinking of just ordering the bearings for the pinion, clean everything and put it together. Sounds good ??
