12V source for testing Haldex pump 30783079
When applying 12V to test if this pump is operational while in the car ... can I just use a car battery or I read somewhere to use a small 12v battery source?

Thanks for the quick reply. I was able to test it tonight.

Make up a fused test lead for this for a battery probe. Your battery will push a couple of hundred amps on a short and that can be quite spectacular
10-15 amp should work for most anything, you can even just use female spades to push into a standard Volvo fuse then wrap with electrical tape to insulate.

Yeah I made up some test leads to easily hook to A spare battery I keep around and charged for jumps etc. Did not make an inline fuse I will add that in now for future tests. It was the amps I was worried about didn’t think about a short.
