S40 Relay Clicking

S40 Relay Clicking

I have a 2000 S40 that makes a clicking noise (sounds like a relay) during the first 5 minutes of operation after startup. It sounds like it is directly behind the glove box in the dash, not the engine compartment. Nothing seems to be affected by this, but it is annoying. It just started
after 33K miles... Anyone experience this with their S-40?

If I change the recirculation switch off (outside air) the clicking stops.. I can then get it to start again by just setting the recirc back to inside...
Is this a vent sticking?
