Drove the car to 30mi to talk with 80yr old brother in laws' mom about doing some handywork around the house that bro can't do. She spent like 20 minutes gawking at the car. Little old ladies just seem to adore a nice clean Volvo. I think if I told her I was looking to sell she'd have wrote me a check on the spot. We'll need to make a trip or two out for paint and minor supplies for some of the things on her todo list. I told her when we go we'll leave her car in the garage and I'll drive.

I definitely wont be time jumping into Indian territory any time soon due to lack of a flux capacitor. But according to my last speeding ticket, ive got the 88mph down no problem.

Short story. Couple weeks ago I went to Indianapolis with a friend. I drove my Volvo because in his exact words "I hate driving!!". Somewhere along the way he mentioned he gets down there in a little over 1.5 hours. It's 150 miles. In a Hyundai. Before the Hyundai he had a CRV. No wonder he hates driving.
BTTFp3 I've always thought that bit of screen writing to be a bit of social commentary. I believe GM reclaiming the early PEVs to destroy them was still fresh in people's mind at the time. The Delorean being touted as a 'futuristic' car, regardless of whatever goodies they packed with still ran on petrol. Without which it's useless flux capacitor or not.
Vacation starts today, and its too nice of a day to not work on them.
The 1995 850 T5-R is getting out from under its cover for a wax and then a nice long drive to get parts for the 1998.
Then the 1998 V70 XC is getting a tuneup. It just started having misfires in cylinder 2 when I gassed up on Friday, like right after I pulled out of the gas station. Then I am going to put the roof box on and get ready to go camping tomorrow.
The 1999 V70 is going to get a talking to about not breaking down anymore and how if she does it again I am finally going to part her but.
