Should add as a reminder (having just read a current thread of P0442 emissions code) to check all the pipes into and out of the carbon canister for splits and cracks. Mine looked ok until I removed them and found them split on the underside. Check also the pipes into and out of the roll over valve and the one that runs up to the filler neck from the roll over valve.

I’m replacing all those, Neil.

New issue, I have an eccentric bolt and a funny slotted washer on the inboard stay bushing, 27. Can’t find that in the web store. It’s nice volvo also sells a box you can throw up into when you pull up this diagram

( about 1.5 hours lost on stuck fuel line )

Complete rebuild of all fuel lines and half of the evap lines.

Scrape down chassis members , prime and paint.

Axle up and in , and six side rail bolts snugged.

Holly Molly! That is a huge amount of work in that time and you know I know about that although I did not have the fancy hoist to work with.

How far are you from firing it back up to see if you managed to get all the fuel leaks?

+1 with Neil, lots of work in short time, and (probably) not the only game in play at the moment. Nice shiny new filter, and you either found connectors or re-used what came off ?
Garage door is up, so I hope the weather is still decent there for tidy-up.

I have no idea how you did this without a lift , Neil.

Do I need to change angle gear and rear differential fluids? Just as soon do that on a lift.

So what are you going to do after this weekend? For you that list is short..........

Yes a hoist would be nice. Maybe sometime this year if I can get to it!

Have a muffler to remove and weld on the 'R' and then a job I'm really looking forward to. Toyota 4Runner V8 cracked exhaust manifold. Known issue Toyota never fixed and they want $1350 Cdn for a new piece of crap. Comes from sticking a catalytic conveter on the end of each manifold. Need to look at the Doug Thornely ? Stainless mufflers. About half the price for a pair but you have to cut off and install your cats onto it. Fortunately my buddy is a welder!!

The U hose from Carbon canister to canister shut off on the AWD is NLA but you can make one from a FWD J hose....

I struggled releasing one of the fuel pump fittings at the fuel pump. Three popped off with the 90 degree angled fork tool ( picture pending) but the outboard one on the main pump , passenger side, got mangled badly. The three others, pop and off.

You have to force the plastic ferrule up into the metal spring , which then lets the fitting slide over the swage ridge on the fuel line. Unlike the FWD pump, which is a straight pipe, the AWD PUMP has a lock ridge.

I found a Ford replacement fitting for the one I mangled, picture pending
