What year is your 850? And what exactly is your problem? I understand you have excessive fuel consumption, but what do you mean by "i have repair black smoke in the exhaust pipe?" Have you checked to make sure your airbox isn't stuck to the hot air side? Do you have any codes or is the CEL on?

Could be a number of things like Maf,o2 sensors, vacuum leak...Read your codes and post'em here and than we will be able to help you.

If your car is '93-'95 you can read the codes yourself.Like this:

If it's '96 or later you'll need scan tool/code reader to read the codes.

Go to advanced or auto zone and have them read your codes for you, or borrow one of their scan tools. Post the codes back here and we can start figuring out what's wrong. Black smoke usually means you're burning oil so my first guess is that you have an oil leak. When was your last oil change and what kind of oil are you using?

Oh, and, just out of curiosity, what does "2000t" mean? lol

Ok. When you say you changed the thermostat do you mean the one in the airbox? If so, are you positive that the aribox is working properly? Until you get the codes read and post them there isn't much else that can be done. Like I said, I'm pretty sure that it's an oil leak.
