Radiator replacement 2002 S60
Hi Volvo fans. I'm new to the forum. Have a 2002 S 60 2.4 turbo (wifees car) with a cracked radiator. Figured a new one would cost a lot more but "Voluparts" has them new for $180 plus shipping and Auto Zone has them new for $280 new. Any one ever changed theirs' ? Will I need any special tools ? Heard I will. Got an opinion on which radiator to go with; Voluparts or Auto Zone ? Thanks for any help you can give. Steve

Part number 36002407 will fit your car without that "special" premair coating on it, you don't really need it. Its a factory part and if you mention this page you get free shipping. Genuine Volvo shipped free for less than Auto Zone.
Our page is not all that easy to look up parts on...were working on that, so I just give the part numbers you need, that way you can just fire in the number and check prices. If you ever have any questions about parts or part numbers, just email your question, and let us look it up.

I don't know what qualifies as special tools? But I changed mine last summer, I did a pressure test and mine had a pinhole leak. Its pretty straight forward, and other than Torx bits, I don't recall needing anything to exotic.
