I have a very highpitched whine coming out of my right front passanger side. It is wheelspeed dependant, getting louder with speed.
The whine is louder after/during a rain, and what used to go away after driving for 5 minutes, takes 20 minutes to go away.
I don't think it's my bearing. I changed that about 2 years ago and thought that maybe I overtorqued it, but I think the sound is too high-pitched to indicate a stressed bearing.
The CV boot has been broken for a good 6 months, so I was going to change the axle next week. (I don't think it's that). While I'm there, anything I should check visually or otherwise?
Ideas on where to start?
