Ok well my 2000 S70 T5 FWD volvo had been running great for the past year. I went away to college and left my car about a month after I got my car back the check engine light came on. Ok no big problems yet still was running fine then one day on the high way going about 70 Mph the spedo just cut off and went down to 0, also the odometer showed dashes instead of the usual 120,000+ miles. The spedo eventually came back and seemed to show correct speed and so did the odometer. I thought nothing of it. A couple of months went by with the spedo cutting out every once in a while same with the odometer. Then all of a sudden more issues came about. The ABS and BRAKE lights both came on. Also an ARROW that would BLINK. Its the arrow that lets you know your in gears 1-3 or in winter mode but when working normally doesn't blink, and i was in drive not any of those modes. When the BLINKING ARROW shows up usually the STC traction control light comes on which lets you know you shut off traction control. And every once in a while the engine makes very odd sounds in low Rpm's but sounds normal in higher. And sometimes when this happens it shifts very violently when in drive. Took my car to a mechanic to get the check engine light checked and the OBD gave a wrong reading saying cam sensor and speed sensor was broken they were replaced and nothing changed. The check engine light has stayed on since then.
These lights seem to come on in an order every time BRAKE and ABS come on at the same time. Then they go off and usually STC traction control light come on some times with the BLINKING ARROW.
PLEASE HELP ME
If you know anything about this or have any ideas at all please let me know I love my car and it was great i want to try and figure out what can be causing these problems. And anything you know can help.
Thanks!
I will be posting photos tomorrow.
Please help my S70 T5 back its full potential

Most of your problems sound like they are centered around a bad ABS module. I'm not sure if this is causing your transmission to flip out or not, but that is where you should probably start.
You can pull the ABS module and have it sent off to this guy who fixes them for a very reasonable price:

You definitely need a new ABS module. As for the tranny issue, sounds like that could be you PNP switch. With the car running and you foot firmly on the brake, try rowing the shifter through all the gears at a good speed a good 20 times and see if that helps. If it does, you need the PNP switch replaced because it is only a temporary fix.

These problems don't sound too serious. Your ABS module is an easy and cheap fix regardless of how you do it. 1 way is to have Vic do it for 100 some dollars or you can do it yourself for free. For your transmission, when you put it in reverse do your back up lights sometimes not come on? If so, then that sounds like a PNP switch problem which is also easy to fix.
