HID conversion problem S60 2005

Post by own3r »

I have purchased the HID conversion kit from SharpHID. Now I am having extreme difficulties installing in. Actually I am having extreme difficulties removing the old bulb. There is simply no space to move or to see what you are doing.

Is there a way to remove the whole light and then to proceed with the hid installation, cause if it is this hard to remove the bulb in the tight space how am I suppose to install the balast after wards? So far the only bulb that I was able to pull out was the parking light lol. The Actual one doesnt even move when I pull or move it side to side.

And this is on the passenger side, the light on the driver side has twice as little space to move around in, are there any actual walk through on installing all this?
Thanks guys....

You do realize that these HID aftermarket conversion kits may result in a $5000 fine (Yes, $10k for a pair). Check with NHSTA. Plus you'll have to pay to convert back. You should consider adding HID driving or fog lamps. The problem is the HID arc light source is not positioned properly between the lens and reflector, changes the focal point.
