VOLVO problems

Hello Fellow Volvo fans, I have driven Volvos for 30 + years & have three at this time. My 1996, 850 has a non-functioning front right electric window. I would very much appreciate any & all info. I want to repair it myself. Also, My heater/air conditioner blower motor is making an annoyinging "squeeling" noise--I hear this is a really big pain in the butt to change out. Any suggestions will be appreciated!!
One last thing--Of all the six Volovs I 've owned all of them have broken odometer and tripmeters. Encluding the three Volovs in my family now!!
Volvo needs to address this as I have met many Volvo owners with this same problem. Thank you & look forward to hearing from fellow Volvo owners. Lary

Dunno about the window problem, but according to VADIS, to replace the blower motor:

> Remove passenger side sound well (3 screws)
> Remove glove compartment (4 screws)
> Remove glove compartment panel (4 screws)
> Disconnect fan motor connector
> Remove cable duct from fan motor
> Remove the two connectors from their brackets
> Remove fan moror (4 screws)

To reinstall:

Install the...
> Fan motor.
> Connectors (2) in brackets.
> Cable duct.
> Fan motor connector.
> Glove compartment panel.
> Glove compartment.
> Sound wall.
