Hello everyone
Well i have managed to get my struts sorted out, thanks to your help.
But while doing it, some how i managed to pull one of the drive shafts out at the gearbox end.
I put it all back, but when taking the car for a test run it was all fine until i turned right at a roundabout.
The drive shaft pulled out its seating (cage for ballbearing & cage stayed in).
Anyone got any ideas why this happened, the part on the end of the shaft with the clip stayed in place (dont know what this is called), plus i got the tracking done after doing the strut by a local garage.
It was fine for a couple of days?
Thanks in advance for any help.
cheers Adam

You probably jerked too hard and removed the boot cover for the drive shaft. if you have only driven a couple of miles, not in the rain and not thru a lot of dust/dirt, you could just replace the boot cover and regrease. But it sounds like you've driven at least 10-20 miles. I wouldn't chance that dirt, rocks, dust, etc. didn't get into the driveshaft.
Bad news - you need to replace the driveshaft. Runs about $150 (www.ipdusa.com)
Good news - it's really easy. Remove the drive shaft bolt from the hub (17mm iirc), remove the clamp holding the driveshaft, pull the driveshaft out, pop the new one in, and reverse.

does anyone know the name of the type of drive shaft thats used in this car?
Also what is the part of the drive shaft that has 6 bearings a cage and the part on the shaft connected with the clip.
