Imageshack -- who was hosting the diagram -- appears to have deleted it from their server(!).

I found it somewhere, and am now hosting it here for safekeeping.

Hello - thanks for the diagram. I'm new here. Great forum. I have a new 97 850 turbo wagon, and am having some problems with overboost and cutting out. I can't figure out where the red line that comes out of the TCV should go. Currently it's tee'd into a line that hooks onto the beginning of the air inlet tube just after the air filter, and the other end goes to the end of the air inlet tube where there is a larger hose also coming into it. This doesn't make sense to me- the wastegate needs a line going to boost pressure. But I can't find a pressure tap according to the diagram on the turbo, unless the large 3/8" or so braided hose going into the turbo inlet line comes from the inlet manifold and there's an orifice in there or something.

Also the center blue line was going to a metal tube about 1/8" dia going down the back of the engine along a larger metal tube, and the hose appears about 1/4" so that can't be right. It says it goes to fresh air hose, or I suppose that's the air inlet also.

Thanks in advance.
Bob

Found a better picture elsewhere and mine is way off as suspected. But I still don't know what goes on the hard 1/8 tube that starts near the TCV but lower, and is rigid mounted, and goes across and down the back of the engine lower somewhere out of view. Maybe to the transmission? If so what should be hooked to it?

I had found a parts book picture showing it in more detail on another forum. Here is the link.

Good luck.

I am experiencing several problems and trying to bang them out one at a time and not get too overwhelmed. I was putting on a new serp belt today and found a vacuum leak. It is on the left side of the what I think is called the Intake Manifold. I have highlighted the posted image from earlier where my problem lies. There is nothing connected there only the remains of where the end of the a hose that was once there. When I put my finger on it it sucks on it and after a few seconds the engine really smooths out and sounds better than it ever has. Can anyone advise me on how to find the other end of this hose where it connects to? Maybe even a pic of the part it connects to would be much appreciated. I would also be interested in knowing what size vacuum hoses I should purchase. I want to replace most of the vacuum hoses/ Measurements in mm would be great, or a place I can buy a kit.
Thank you in advance.

I don't know the size of the hose you're looking for but the part number is 976734-4. I'm sure the dealership can give you the size and you can pick it up at your local parts store. The line from the dealer is $20.
BTW, getting the line on the manifold was a total PITA when I did mine. Very tight working space.

I just ordered this silicone vacuum hose kit myself. Scroll down past the Turbo Intercooler Kits and you'll see it. I got the cheaper one, I'll re dress my wires with 10mm later.

IS THIS CORRECT: from the first pic above for a 98 S70 T-5M? On my T5-M is follows: (base on this diagram)
Red hose #20 insert into #1 (hole) and TCV red mark.
Blue hose from TCV blue mark, insert to MAF (Turbo Inlet Tube).
Yellow hose is correct: [ #19 wastegate, insert to TCV yellow mark].
