Left turn signal not working after change.

Hello everyone.

I need help.
After I replaced the left corner light, this one:

the turn signal stopped working.
The bulb, fuse and wiring are OK as when I activate the alarm, all the turn signals flash, but when I switch the left turn signal on, it starts flashing very fast (I guess you all know what that means) and works only in the rear ...

I'm noodling on it - I need to go through the schematics.

What I need to figure out is what is different in the wiring from the alarm relay to the lights than what is coming from the hazard relay to the lights.

I've run into problems with replacement marker lamp assemblies being wired differently than the originals. Try the old bulb holder if you've got it. I had to cut and reattach two wires on the last t/s assembly I installed. The ground wire was not located in the same place on the bulb holder. Same exact symptoms.

Thank you drsugg, but the new turn signal came empty, no bulb socket whatsoever, I used my old one.
And the funniest thing is that the bulb works , like when I turn the alarm on or off I can see it flashing ...

Schematically the problem makes no sense. The only thing I can come up with is that the lamp is not correctly seated or the ground is bad.

Well.

Today I opened the turn signal, took off the bulb, put it back (I imagine in a different way, it is not symmetrical) and it started working again.
