S40 2001 No brakes!

I have an '01 S40. First start of the day I have no power brakes, after it warms up there is no problem the rest of the day, just first thing in the morning. Fluid level is good and all hoses appear to be good. Any ideas?

How long ago did you replace discks/brakepads? I did mine and had the same problem aftewards

Volvotex, welcome to Matthew's Volvo Site.

You are losing the vacuum from the servo (brake booster) overnight. Check the hose from the servo to the vacuum pump for leaks. Pay particular attention to the fitting at the servo end. There is a small gasket that sits in a hole in the servo where the vacuum pipe is attached.
