Help. I am looking for a vacuum line diagram for my car. It's a 1998 xc with 155k.
I have been doing a stage 0 and run into problems with the vacuum lines.
I am replacing the vacuum lines and need a reference to do do it correctly.
The one I can not find is downstream from the air intake and near the flexible hose It has some tubing then white then some more tubing.
I have done a search and not been able to find something I can use for all the hoses on this car.
Nor has my Haynes been any help.
Thanks.

pop the hood and look on the passenger side of the hood for a 4"x4"ish white sticker with the complete diagram on it. It's easiest to take a picture and blow it up.

Still can not figure out where that vacuum hose from the ribbed flexible hose is supposed to end up. Have copied that diagram from the hood. Also looked at all pictures of that area I could find.
Anyone in the Colorado Springs area have a setup (stock of course) that I could look at to see just where this vacuum line goes?
I think I would have found a 'step by step' for all vacuum line replacement if one were available for me to view on this forum.
Help I need some more links to pictures.
Happy Thanksgiving 2009.

The problem is that there are several variations based on your emission codes. Some have SAS, others don't - some have EGR, others don't....... The sticker under the hood is the best bet. If you can snap a picture of the line in question I'm sure someone can compare with their stock setup.
