high mileage

For those interested in high mileage gems, there was a classified in a Montreal daily last week selling a Volvo 850 1995 with 1 260 000 km on it. That's 787 500 miles for you my friends!

The ad said it was in very good shape but did not mention a price. And it did not mention if the 17th timing belt was changed!

Ok here's the story of the first time I made a fool of myself on MVS:

That million + km 95 Volvo classified ad indeed had a last line that read "1 260 000 km". BUT, on one line the ad would read: "condition A-1 260 000 km"

Ahem...

1 260 000 km = 1500 miles a week for 10 years! How about that for a commute.
