2003 XC90 transmission fluid/filter change

We have 105K miles on our 2003 Volvo XC90. I want to change the trans fluid and filter. There is no visible pan and screws like on a typical automatic transmission. The Volvo dealer tells me that that the transmission is made by GM and that it is a "maintenance free" design, so the fluid is not to be changed.
Question: How do I at least drain the fluid even if I can't change the filter? Where can I get a schematic of the transmission to show me where the drain plug, if any, is located?
I know that there's no way any transmission fluid can be good after 100K miles, and we plan on keeping driving this vehicle a lot longer, hopefully for at least another 100K miles. New and clean trans fluid is better than old fluid that's 7 years old. Any help or direction is appreciated.

Here you go -no replaceable filter in these- please remember to use the correct fluid

If your car is a 5 cyl XC90 then your car has no trans filter and requires special fluid.

If your car is a 6 cyl XC90 then your car HAS a trans filter and only requires Dexron III trans fluid.

Part number for the trans filter is 30681088, you will also need part number 9445692 which is the gasket for the pan.
