BRO!!! that goes to your Cpu box. do what i did as a temp fix untill you can get one!
Get some electrical tape and wrap wrap wrap it!
I managed to find the hose at a auto yard when they brought in an 850 WHILE i was walking thru!!! usually they gut the motor and this part comes out too. Check FCP's site for it.

IPD calls it the air duct hose. It connects the ECU to something...

Without going to Vadis which means shutting everything down and booting a windows partition I can't give you an official name for it or a part number. It is an airflow line to the ECU box and it is relatively unimportant. It is under no pressure at all. I do know that it is relatively cheap but you can just wrap some black electrical tape around it and it will be fine for years to come. Even if you don't wrap it it will be fine for years to come.
There are many things that keep me awake at night on my Volvos but that is not one of them.

The purpose of that plastic hose is cooling of ecu's in that box with outside air.The other end goes to cooling fan carrier.

Those things only cost about $8 at the dealer if memory serves. Particularly in hot weather, I think you want to have a hose there that works. Your chip MIGHT not burn up but, why take a chance? It's only $8. The computer it cools costs a lot more than that.
