S70 ac failure
lair conditioner not working when turn on checked thru relay box and energized relay air conditioner run fine but seems as the cooling fan does not run O.A Temp above 65deg why AC notbrun please help

my experince with the a/c with my S70 1997 yes manufactured in 4/1997
soon as you switched on the a/c , it is a ECC unit , the recirculate and a/c off LED flashed for 20 seconds, the a/c not working at all no fan nothing what so ever but you can hear the compressor cycling on and off. Took it to the local mechanic and regassed the unit . It was working again but not the next day, so off I went straight to the dealer as the mechanic would not be able to help any further. Spent close to $1000 australian to fix and it was the fan motor drawing too much current tripping the guard circuit. They did not explain why but I guess replacing the fan is the way they went about to fix it.
