turbo rebuilding time?

Well, the S#!t hit the fan!
Not really, but a screw did. I found a chewed up screw in the intake of the turbocharger. I have no idea where it came from, and am baffled how it got in there, The intake hasn't been off the car since march when I had the head/valves rebuilt. The impeller is completely trashed and doesn't spin. At least this explains the bits of metal shavings I found in the tubing!
So now I need to replace the whole thing. I found one at a local Junkyard for $250 or one on ebay for $195. Mileage is unknown on either.

I'm having a hard time finding a mounting gasket though. Any ideas?
I emailed IPD in case they just don't list it. My local foreign parts guy said that he couldn't find a listing for it, and that I may need to get it from a dealer

I did vacuum test the wastegate actuator and it's good. My hoses were pretty poor, so i plan to replace them.

You might want to check with jordanvw over on VS. He parts a lot of cars and might be able to do a bit better on price. I've bought stuff from him and he has been totally honest with me.

Thanks for all the help folks! I was able to get my hands on a nice Turbocharger for $170 over at VS, spent the weekend putting it in and replacing hoses and lines. it runs great now. I'd forgotten how great this car is. It runs like a scalded dog.
