v70 2002 Remote Key Repair

Hi guys
I have a 04 v70 that has a switchblade key that flops in and out. I purchased a used remote key fob on ebay. I opened the remote all-right but can not separate the halves to remove the actual key blank. I havn't broken it yet but am heading that way. Any ideas?

The switchblade key can't be repaired. Only way to fix it is to replace it with a new cut key and then have it reprogrammed. The problem is with the key part itself, the remote you purchased is not going to help you and can't be programmed either.
