v70 2004 D5 Timing belt (Change frequency)

Hi Guys,

Cant find this info in the manuals.

When should the timing belt on my 2004MY D5 be changed?
Im at 50,000 miles now.

Just did mine (2002 V70) a few weeks ago at 106K miles. The belt, idler, and tensioner didn't look anywhere as bad as the pics in the link above. I'm not saying you should let it go longer, but 70K may be a bit early.
Take off the cover and you can see all 3 parts, then do what you feel is necessary.
I got all my parts from IPD for $140.

Very interesting. Thanks guys. Looks like Ive got a few trips left in her yet but I do tend to drive in a "spirited" fashion so will prob change at about the 70k mark, just to err on the side of caution.
