Gearbox arrow light

The gearbox arrow light is flashing.

The codes coming up is 1-1-4 and 3-2-3.

Any ideas what this could be?

114 Program selector open circuit or short circuit to supply (S/E/W switch)
323 Lock up slips or is not engaged (torque converter)

Neither are necessarily a cause for alarm. Try rowing the shifter quickly between P & L 15-20 times, and pushing the SEW buttons a few times each. I have heard of the SEW buttons going bad, but it may have just been stuck in one mode for too long, or have had something spilled in it. Clear the codes & see if you still get the flashing light.

If the 3-2-3 code comes back, you should try a transmission flush or drain & fill. Either way, you should have a look at the fluid in any case as well...if its burnt, dirty, or low, change it!
