ok $3k maybe a little low but my frame of mind was this: if i buy nice low mileage (say 120k) car i'm going to have to replace everything like timing system, pcv, suspension, etc on it in the next 20 to 50k miles anyway. so why not spend less and get a higher mileage car and just do everything when you get it. save yourself a couple grand. these engines obvioulsy last a long time if you take care of them so i dont see the harm in buying a something with a 180k over buying something with 120k if the price is right.
obviously i would pay more for a low mileage car that has had alot of work done to it but maybe not 2k more.
i was just thinking out loud when i posted cause that seller seemed like d-bag and he nothing about the car.
i do agree that everything is jacked up on craigslist!
