wiring diagram broken line

Someone remind me please. On a wire diagram where there is a broken line instead of solid that is either optional equipment or alternative equipment isn't it ? Ie difference in EFi systems ?
855 T-5 RHD Blue: MBC, Custom Map based on Rica, K&N Filter, 18T Turbocharger, White/Green injectors [depends on my mood], Blue Silicone vacuum hoses

It is either for an option or it is for a different model (Saloon vs an Estate) they are normally fairly good about calling out the differences though.
