Volvo 1998 V70 - How to remove front door?

Post by jasonmk12 »

I am going to have to take off the drivers door on my wagon because I am going to try and fix a check strap that was left unfixed by the previous owner and has ruined the pillar metal and needs major welding work. Whats the best way to remove the entire door? I searched and couldnt find anything.

Thanks guys,
Jason

I think all you're going to need is a Torx or socket wrench to remove the bolts from the hinges and the door should come off. You might need to unbolt the door stop and/or unplug the wiring harness.
