S70 Headlight Wiring Harness

Post by Ghent »

I had a low-beam bulb go out, so I replaced both like a good boy. In both cases though, the bulb connectors started crumbling - pieces of plastic everywhere. Luckily there was enough infrastructure to get both assemblies back together, but I want to replace the harnesses. I found 2 parts listed at one of the sponsor sites - one with "beam adjustment" and one without. Not sure what that refers to. Which one do I need? Merci.

The plastic terminal holder is sold seperately by Volvo, I'll get you a part # on Monday if you'd like.

That would be great. Thanks. I wonder how difficult they are to hook up, though.

The wire ends that are still there just slide back into the holder.

If we're on the same page, the part number for the plastic terminal holder is... 8678122. About 5 bucks each.
