Been gone for a while... thought I would check back in here. $192.00 is a fair price for the parts and labor if it fixes the problem. Thats an hour of labor and a fair markup on the part, and quite reasonable as far as dealerships go... I would have expected much more.

Refer to Esnoyer's post to see what I'm talking about. A simple gross leak code caused by someone not securing the gas cap. $118 to scan and $35 to install a new gas cap at the dealership. At my shop, $0 to scan/clear the code and $0 for a personal lesson on how to properly screw a gas cap on. Sounds to me like your dealership is pretty reasonable.

Hey there, I just installed the throttle pedal assembly today. The 192$ was just the price for the part, I installed it myself after finding out it didn't require software. Plug and play.

It was a tight spot to get in and replace the three 10mm bolts but id say I did it in well under an hour. The throttle isn't hesitating anymore! So im very pleased, car is working great again and just about to hit the 160mile mark.

When I went to the dealer to pick up the part I dropped my 94 850 turbo off. It will not start after I did a manual transmission swap and I can't figure it out......... post to link https://www.matthewsvolvosite.com/forums ... =1&t=28292

I am interested to see how they treat me in this circumstance as I am sure they don't have alot of people hauling them 16 year old cars, with mixed matched transmissions that won't start!

I hope the new throttle pedal position sensor on the XC will be good for a while.
