I am replacing the driver's seat belt on my 2002 S80. I was able to pull off the cover to check out the belt assembly and the replacement looks pretty straightforward.
Are there any precautions I need to take with regards to the SRS/airbag system? I figure I should disconnect the battery just to be safe, but is there anything else I need to do so the airbags don't accidentally deploy?

Did you ever get this done, i am about to do the same thing? Does the cover just pull off? Any issues with the air bag system?
