Excellent engine/transmission; steering/suspension decent.
Rear brakes one month old [disc/pad/one caliper].
Has Volvo radio with tape and single CD, with code. Old radio w/code included.
Needs breather box service and turbo return seal. The leak is not the rear main seal. Oil doesn't drip, but seems to burn off on the engine. There are several stations within a few blocks, and you are welcome to put the car of a lift.
Intermittent check engine light [CEL] from vacuum line faults. CEL is not automatic emissions fail in this pre-1996, however. If you want the CEL gone, you'd have to replace the vacuum lines.
I swapped in a cloth manual seat from a 1994 850 with 77K; the old seat leather works, but has lost it's support. The old seat is included.
Center console window switch to RR window intermittent, so I removed the door switch to prevent inadvertent operation.
The car has never stranded me, and I've put 120K on it over three and a half years.
Replaced by me:
Struts complete, shocks complete, various suspension and steering items as required, fuel pump, ignition switch. Radiator cooling fan, electronic climate control, climate blower fan, and climate "power pack" resister. AC works until temp under hood rises, and then warm air starts blowing. I'm told I need my compressor clutch shimmed [the ghetto fix]. iPd intermittent relay, newer OEM wiper arms.
Michelin Primacys have 4~5/32 left.
Car will be available in about 10 days, as I'm getting my Brother's Acura TL [which I'm hoping to trade with a friend's 1995 850 Turbo with 90K!]
If you wanted it sooner, that can be arranged. For view and sale in Upper Darby.
Here are some flattering photos after it was detailed two years ago. I haven't washed it since, so the paint should come right up with some compounding. We'll take it on the highway, and you'll be a believer. Engine/transmission work perfectly.
This is not a car for your daughter. It is a beater, dependable transportation, and will run another 75K at least, with minimum wrenching.
