AC lower line replacement

Everything on the Volvo S80. Sometimes called an "executive car", the S80 was Volvo's top-of-the-line passenger car. P2 platform.

AC lower line replacement

I took my S80 in to the dealer because the drivers side was cold and the passenger was warm, so according to the service department the reason it remained cold on the drivers side is due to a fail safe and the lower ac line is leaking. They quoted 615.00 to replace the line, i declined the repair and paid the $137 diagosis fee. He did give me the part number 9166440, my question is which line is this? And does the"fail safe" reason soud real because I havent heard of it?

I found the part at myvolvoparts.com, parts geek had a line by behr for half the price, but should I just pony up and purchase the line from myvolvoparts?
