850 Turbo Heater Core "O" rings

Installed new heater hoses, firewall block , Heater Core & Heater core "O" Rings from FCP. the heater core "O" rings are green & thin while the ones I removed were black & thick. Have a small leak from heater core connection. I will tighten that 1 screw that holds it together, can only tighten so much. Any Advice? Thank You

Call FCP and get the right o rings. Don't tighten the connection any more than spec. It won't cure your leak. Measure the thickness of the old o rings and make sure FCP does the same. If they don't have them then use a dealer. Overheating is a bad thing in our cars. It is a motor killer.

Thanks, FCP said I could reuse the old ones, that's not right! Will try Dealer tomorrow.
Tightening did not fix.......

My dealer sells the same kit FCP does but with real volvo parts for $38. So FCP sells theirs for $19+$6ish in shipping you're not talking a big difference in price to go Volvo "blue box". In fact instead of rolling the dice on my recent seals/bolts purchase I went to my dealer and bought everything. FCP apparently will tell you that they are selling OEM parts when they are not. I won't purchase from them again.

My experience here is that the Yellow clips from FCP are different for the OEM clips and you need to yank a spacer out of the pipe(s) at the firewall in order to get things to "click".
