Flashing Lights

I have a 98 S70 GLT with about 97,000 miles on it. While driving, the lights on the dash on the left side (i.e., the bulb failure light, trunk light, and such) will flash for only a split second. Nothing seems to be wrong with the car and I am almost completely sure that it is only electrical. Anybody know what fcould be wrong? Thanks.
